Cranberry Chess Pie

I tried this cranberry studded pie out for my November cooking club and everyone really enjoyed it! It will be making an appearance on our Thanksgiving table this year.

It's very pretty and festive with the ruby red cranberries and crackly sugar top.


A yummy, sweet layer of orange scented custard is topped with tart cranberries for a nice balance of flavors. The pie is simple to make and it's so different and festive and very delicious. I would recommend it anytime, but especially for your turkey day table or your Christmas buffet.
